Specification
- It is oily in nature and lubricates the surface of the skin to give a supple, smooth and soft appearance. PPG-15 Stearyl Ether also prohibits salts from crystallizing in a formulation. This skin conditioning agent also works well with cleansing products.
Application
- Stable performance, does not react with most of the raw materials of cosmetics, stable in acid and alkali media, can be compounded with anionic and cationic surfactants respectively; the product is used as a softening agent, with certain lubricating, wetting, plasticizing, solubilizing and dispersing properties.
- In hair care products, it can partially or fully replace white mineral oil, giving hair luster, and also has a styling effect, and can be used as a hairspray resin plasticizer and thickening agent.
- In skin care products, it can be used as a lubricant for non-greasy sunscreen to give the skin a pleasant dry feeling; in skin lubricants, its solubility and wetness can be used to remove oil.
- In bath products, it can make low temperature transparent bath oil and hand soap.
- In aerosols, used as anti-adhesive agent and valve lubricant.
- In beauty cosmetics, used as a carrier of pigment, can produce non-greasy, non-sticky film; can be used as a pigment dispersant and coupling agent, can couple a large number of aromatic oils, so that they dissolve in mineral oil.
- In the chemical industry, it is used as an intermediate in the synthesis of special performance surfactants.
